JBSourcery ROM v5.2 for Galaxy Nexus! [GSM/Verizon/Sprint]

For this week’s ROM of the week, check out JBSourcery ROM v5.2. The latest version of JBSourcery ROM comes with a ton of more feature than the last time we saw this ROM, adding ability to change literally every icon on your phone, swap kernels easily, and a ton more.

Certainly, JBSourcery ROM has set a new bar for custom ROMs on the Galaxy Nexus (and also Android in general) by adding full AOKP-like ROM control features plus much more.

For UI customization, you can use JB Control Center, which is very similar to AOKP ROM Control, just slightly different menus.

ParanoidAndroid ROM v3.15 for Galaxy Nexus! [GSM/Verizon/Sprint]

ParanoidAndroid ROM version 3.15 is out for all the Galaxy Nexus variants including GSM, Verizon, and Sprint!

With the latest version you will be able to tweak additional settings in expert settings to enable expanded mode so you can automatically remove your navigation bar while using certain apps with PIE control replaced for the navigation bar.

ParanoidAndroid ROM (by itself) probably doesn’t get enough credit for innovating custom ROMs but let’s do give them a big applause for innovating Android custom ROMs, mainly by bringing Tablet/Phablet Mode to near-perfection by offering users the flexibility to run their phone/tablets in Phone/Phablet Hybrid/Tablet mode and also by being able to run apps in Phone/Tablet/Custom mode with endless iterations including even color change for status bars.

XenonHD ROM for Galaxy Nexus! [GSM/Verizon/Sprint][PIE Control]

Looking for a solid ROM like AOKP or JBSourcery? Well, here’s another great ROM you can try, XenonHD ROM.

Based on Android 4.2.1, the XenonHD ROM has very similar features to AOKP’s ROM Control Settings with some more additional features like build prop editor, PIE Control, and some more.

It’s not all too-different from AOKP but it does offer those subtle differences that may satisfy your cravings for a new ROM.
