Here’s another great Jelly Bean ROM you should try, Xenon HD Jelly Bean ROM.

Notables features of Xenon HD Jelly Bean ROM include Android 4.1.1 JRO03H base, Apex launcher, scrolling cache improvements, 180 degree rotation, XenonHD wallpapers, louder output speakers, Wi-fi scan time to 100 for battery save, and should give you much better performance and battery life over stock.

I really like this ROM and give it a twirl and let me know what you think!

this rom actually blows. it is pretty smooth but had to restart multiple occasions because no sound was being played. didn’t have any sound boosting apps other than dsp manager, which i never set up. also google app play music would freeze all the time and i would press next and pause then about five minutes later all those taps would magically start working and it would go through all of the taps at once lol. do not recommend this rom. jellybro is where it is at.

  2. Shawn Elliott says:

I loved this ROM in ICS. Flashed to the Jelly version, and found no issues whatsoever … and my speaker is back to being loud again – so much better than stock!

  3. Ted says:

Hey Max! Thanks for the share I love this ROM!
Btw what’s the swagger toggle for?

  4. David says:

  6. Mike Farias says:

    Hi Max,

Ive noticed that i only have 15gb left out of 32 when i switch back and forth between roms. I deleted all the data on the sd card and still had half my memory taken up. Im wondering how to free up memory in the root are because I think i have old or unnecessary file left over from ics. Any Suggestions?

    Thanks, Mike

If you don’t delete the ROM zip from your SD card manually it will stay in your memory. Use root explorer to clean up your sdcard.

  7. usman says:

Sadly this ROM doesn’t have all the customisation that’s other ICS ROMs have especially screen capture I liked having the screen capture button on the notification menu …waiting for a more customizable ROM

  8. raymil says:

  9. G says:

Max, I can’t seem to activate my Nexus on 4G LTE. It shows bars but can’t make calls or send texts. Please help. The guy at Verizon store said he’s running JB 3.1 is there a link?? Anyone able to help would be greatly appreciated.

  10. Ted says:

Did anyone get “unknown” number for all the incoming calls?
I called Rogers they said it’s not a problem at their end. Is it possible this can happen because I flashed this Xenon HD rom?

  11. Andrew says:

What is the difference between Black AOKP, Xenon HD and Jellybro?

  12. zhiyao says:

It all works fine and if is ultra snooth.
However the Google play app dissapeared after installation and tried to install it manually
But each time I run the app,it would close/crash automatically..
Anyone is familiar with this problem?
Does it happen only with this ROM?

    thanks

  13. Andrew says:

    Hey Max,

  14. Arias says:

I had to reboot my Verizon GNex a couple of times the last few days because the gps stops working, it wont even say looking for satelite on notification, anyone have any idea why?

  15. Andrew says:

Are there any known “touch screen sensitivity” issues with some of the ROMs?
I think I got a Bigxie ROM from some other site and the three softkeys are not very responsive. I have to really press down on them for them to work. It used to be very sensitive that I can just ever so slightly touch them and they would work.
Also, my phone occasionally lags for a bit when I am swiping back and forth between main screens.
What’s people’s opinion on the best Jelly Bean ROM out there right now?

  16. justin says:

Using this + trinity kernel overclocked to 1.4ghz. Super smooth, no issues. Nice combo.

  17. usman says:

  18. Paul says:

I just loaded this and it goes into the boot animation and freezes after a few seconds on “XENONHD”. It looks pretty hd but I want more that just one image on my phone haha.
I have a Verizion Nexus Galaxy

  19. Ahmad says:

Max, you gta give us the HighOnAndroid ROM for the Gnex ;)

  20. Ben says:

I really like this rom but my phone went into a boot loop after a few hours. Had to restore to a previous rom. May have been caused by one of the new apps I loaded. I am trying to wait for a new rom. Not because there is anything wrong with this one but just in case the problem app is still on the phone. I am running JellyBro now. If no new rom soon I may flash this one again because I really liked it. May not have any trouble next time.

  21. Josh.g says:

I downloaded the rom and the install went well. I love the metering of the processor speeds. However, I am trying to reload my contacts off of the backup assistant, but Verizon will not connect to my phone now that I am running the ROM. Any suggestions to getting my backup assistant to work?

  22. SaeiD says:

  24. PF says:

What is that app you asked the score to? Is it like Siri? I kept hearing Google Night but I can’t find anything with that name…

  25. Ryan says:

Best Rom to date for me….. problem occurred today though and wondering if anyone else is experiencing it. Apex Launcher updated (i think) and now crashes and won’t launch! So now i have to use the stock launcher which means I lost a lot of cool features. Any suggestions?
