For this week’s ROM of the week, check out The Orca Project ROM. Built from Android 4.2.2 source, the Orca Project brings you a fully custom ROM with Orca Settings(like AOKP ROM Control), transparent lockscreen, Orca wallpapers, PIE Control, Xposed App Settings (see full tutorial on that here), and more.

The Orca Project brings some interesting mix of features, all built from sources so you can feel the speed, it is one of the fastest ROMs I’ve tried so far on the Galaxy Nexus (with no overclocking). So, give it a test drive this week(end) and let me know what you think!

  5. Impetus says:

This looks like an incredibly responsive rom, but for some reason the cell phone radios were not working. It could not connect to Sprint at all. This is the first time that it has happened to me with any rom. I went into the about and it seemed to be missing the information under baseband. Any ideas on why this might be happening? Everything else seemed to work fine.

    • Rob says:

My radios worked fine until I started messing with the DPI that’s when it went south for me.. Every time I tried to change the DPI I would lose radio & have to re-flash the ROM.. I’m glad it’s not just me.. Would love to use this ROM tho..

  6. Alex says:

I managed to fix the no signal issue, just flash the radios. Need help on that? Check out my youtube channel for a tutorial on how to flash the radios. (: a like on the video would also be apreciated, if it helped you. (sprint Gnex variant only, sorry)

  7. Marcus says:
